Oasis - Live At The Boardwalk

In the 90s, all Oasis record sleeve artwork was produced by us at Microdot. The gig posters, however, were always handled by the concert promoters. Presented here for the first time are a series of reimaged artworks for the gigs at Maine Road, Irvine Beach and The Boardwalk.

This edition is for The Boardwalk, and not just any gig at The Boardwalk, but the night Noel joined Oasis live for the first time - evidenced by the 'Featuring New Guitarist' line at the bottom of the poster.

Influenced by old Sex Pistols and Punk flyers, the artwork was put together in a fashion that could have been achieved by the band themselves without any computers in 1992 - the year the gig took place - see video at the foot of the page explaining the artwork.

All the prints are signed by Oasis designer Brian Cannon and carry the Microdot emboss.

The initial print run is of 100 for each size, all the originals have the 'A Microdot Design' spot, which will be removed from any future print runs to differentiate the originals.

The prints are beautifully printed onto 250gsm silk art stock in the North of England and each one carries the Microdot emboss.

The framed prints are mounted before framing in Nielsen brand aluminium frames - as used in the Microdot Boutique and at all Microdot exhibitions.
